Due to daily use and Pennsylvania’s weather, stains and dirt will develop over time. This can easily be washed off by applying soap and water. A sealant is also applied to the stones which can make the cleaning process much easier.

2. Compact Subgrade
We will ensure that the soil is compacted at a very minimum of 95% for durability purposes. It is very important to elevate the building pad to keep its structure.
3. Adding Geotextile
Geotextile is a special fabric that acts as a soil protector which will prevent any type of disturbance. Here at East Penn landscaping, our projects are taken in the most efficient steps possible to satisfy our customers.
4. Spreading Base Materials
A base layer that is on average of 6 inches deep with a layer of gravel or sand above it will provide a proper foundation for the pavers.
5. Edge Restraints
These edging restraints are designed to hold the base material layer in place. This will allow the outside pavers to stay secure and will also prevent any type of erosion. Due to its durability, it is an effective way of making this outdoor addition last.
6. Bedding sand
A layer of concrete sand is spread evenly across at approximately 1-1.5 inches as a base for the pavers. Before we start this crucial step, we will ensure that the area we are working with is evenly paved and level. This will also help keep away ants and weeds, which will make your patio stay presentable.
7. Laying the pavers
Before the pavers are actually placed and installed, lines will be positioned for proper judgment. If spacer bars are not used into each paver, a minuscule space will be required between each paver.
8. Sanding and Sweeping
Once the pavers are laid into place, and will be spread over the final product. We will then sweep the entire patio, filling in the spaces with sand and compacting the whole surface area.
9. Seal Pavers
An acrylic sealer will be placed over the entire patio so it can keep its natural color and beauty. This will also prevent stains from overtime use and weather. East Penn Landscaping services does recommend to reapply this sealer down the line to maintain its durability and beauty.
